Dusti and Ryan September 29, 2012

Dusti and Ryans love story! Told during our Most Romantic couple contest:
So, here it goes with our love story! Our story began June of 2009 with the help of my Dad. I know what you're thinking, "Your Dad?" It's true but the story gets better! One afternoon at my parents house my Dad casually says, "I gave someone your # again (yes again!)." Needless to say I wasn't too thrilled to hear my dad was 'assisting' me in finding a guy a 2nd time. So, curious I asked who he sograciously gave my # to. He replied, "Hooch!" I went from being defensive/embarrassed to thinking "Okay, I'm alright with that!" Hooch was a senior when I was a freshman and our parents had always been friends. He always said hi to me in school but I was always too shy to say anything other than hi back :) We went on our first date and a week later officially became his girlfriend at his brother's wedding. It didn't take long for us to know we were just meant to be, simple as that! We bought a house together in Sept of 2010 and made it our home-sweet-home! On the evening of his birthday, Jan. 30th, 2012, I came home from work and noticed that the lights and TV were off and there was Hooch sitting in the recliner. He had been sick for week and I was feeling so bad for him, it being his birthday and all. So, I walked over and asked how he was feeling and we talked about the day. I told him I was bummed because his second present hadn't come in. He replied, "Well, I bought myself a present, the best kind, too." I said, "Oh yeah!" I was walking away and turned to face him. He reached..I looked down...I saw a white box...I thought what is happening!...I started telling myself, " It's not a ring, it's not a ring!!" Just in case it wasn't I wouldn't look like an idiot.. he got on one knee and asked me the best question (we all know what that was!) and I lost it and cried like a baby. It took me a while to even see the ring :) Of course I said yes!!!!!!! He said he wanted to do something extravagant but still didn't feel good and knew if he did I would guess what was happening. This way I was totally surprised and I WAS!! We are getting married September 29th of this year and I cannot wait to be Mrs. Ryan Lamson! I get to marry my best friend, someone who loves me just as much as I love him :)
This couple chose the perfect rustic setting to frame their love for each other.

These two were loads of fun!

And adorable too. We knew this wedding was going to be a blast!
The wedding and reception with both stated to be held at the beautiful Jones home.

Eric and the boys found this awesome barn for their gents shots.

A beautiful bride, inside and out, Dusti has a greats ensue of humor too!

Our Bridesmaids look alike pic! I think they nailed it! This bridal party was fun as eventually I shot 3 out of the 5's wedding also!

This immaculate work of sugar art was created by Shelly Hargens of Sweet Swirls in Corning, CA. Go see her Facebook page for lots of idea and updates about what she's cooking up for the day. https://www.facebook.com/SweetSwirlsByShellyHargens
The setting was gorgeous and decor were so nicely done. They worked hard to incorporate personal touches that really fit their rustic country theme.

Here comes the bride!

It was a perfect day for a beautiful wedding!

We really lucked out catching these sunset shots before joining the party after portraits.

I think this is YMCA! What a great party and amazing day! Thanks to Dusti and Ryan for sharing their day with us.

Jaclyn and Andy, Dallas Texas, March 1, 2014

This country setting in rural Texas was just perfect for the nuptials of Jaclyn, Andy and Hunter. The chapel was stunning and bright.

This wedding was pretty special to us as Jaclyn is our cousin. We were so excited to visit them in Texas and shoot their very special day.

Erics parents all dressed up for the special day and looking stunning!

This girl makes everyones smile brighter!

Hunter, Formerly Jaclyn's son, was excited to become the son of Andy on this happy day.

The photo of the chapel was from the day before at rehearsal. It was bright and sunny that day and we were a tad worried about the direct light on the bridal party during the ceremony. For the wedding day, a bit of clouds came in and it was PERFECT after all.

We sure lost our light fast that day, as it was March but we managed a few outside before we moved in for chapel shots.

Everyone need a sucker tree!

I just love the look of longing on Hunters' face! This was quite a party! The cake smash was SUPER!

These post portraits were like no other! This bride wanted a serious burger after working hard to say yes to the dress. Enter "Whataburger". Their causal fun style was able to come out in these after shots. Anything outside was out as a random ice storm struck the day after the wedding.

After "Whataburger" it was off to the grocery store! Where else?! These were funny!

I mustache you a question!

Back in the saddle folks!

After graduating from California State university, Chico last May of 2018 with my BA in Anthropology, we are back at it! We have been doing ...
